• A signature head parting into sides and a top triangle - how to find it using a comb, based on the widest and highest points of the head.
• Building a square shape on the sides with the clippers-over-comb technique - the key body stance and wrist movement for a clean line.
• Creating a natural taper on dry hair using an open clipper blade and a flicking motion.
• A blending technique for the back borrowed from women's hairdressing (the bob) - how to avoid a flat back of the head by pulling the central section out to the sides.
• The intentional use of texturizing shears only on the ends (1 cm) to "break the line" and blend sections - not to thin out the hair.
• The full styling process with water-based pomade: application on damp hair, starting from the back and sides, and combing out the shape with an afro pick.
