1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the Connected Hair website available at connectedhair.com and the terms for providing online educational services within the Connected Hair platform. Using the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. DEFINITIONS
- Connected Hair – an online learning platform operated by Connected Hair, providing hairdressing course services.
- User – a natural person, legal entity, or organizational unit without legal personality, using Connected Hair's services.
- BASIC Academy – access to selected educational materials as part of a paid subscription at the price listed at connectedhair.com/dolacz-do-nas
- PRO Academy – full access to all courses, educators, and platform features as part of a paid subscription.
- User Account – a set of data and settings associated with a given User within the Connected Hair system.
3. REGISTRATION AND USER ACCOUNT
3.1. Using the full functionality of the website requires creating a User Account through registration.
3.2. During registration, the User is required to provide accurate information and protect their login credentials from access by third parties.
3.3. The User bears full responsibility for actions carried out using their User Account.
4. SUBSCRIPTION MODELS AND CONTENT ACCESS
4.1. Connected Hair offers two access models for the learning platform:
a) BASIC Academy – access to selected educational materials for 59 PLN per month.
b) PRO Academy – full access to all courses, educators, and platform features for 299 PLN per month. An annual prepayment option is also available for 1788 PLN (149 PLN per month).
4.2. The fee for the next billing period is automatically charged to the payment method selected by the User.
4.3. The User can manage their subscription, including cancelling it, changing plans, or updating payment details, through the user panel available at https://connectedhair.com/moje-konto/.
4.4. Payments are processed using the Surecart system with Stripe integration. User payment data is processed directly by these providers, in accordance with their own privacy and security policies.
4.5. Fees for a billing period already commenced are non-refundable.
5. DIGITAL CONTENT AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
5.1. In the case of purchasing a subscription providing access to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the User is informed that, pursuant to Article 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to agreements for the supply of digital content not recorded on a tangible medium, where performance began with the consumer's express consent before the withdrawal period expired and after the consumer was informed by the trader of the resulting loss of the right of withdrawal.
5.2. By placing an order and accepting these Terms and Conditions, the User:
- consents to the service starting before the 14-day withdrawal period expires
- acknowledges that, as a result of this consent, they lose the right to withdraw from the agreement once the service has begun
5.3. Provision of the service begins the moment digital content is made available to the User on the platform, which occurs immediately after payment is made and account registration is confirmed.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
6.1. All content, educational materials, video courses, graphics, trademarks, and other elements available on the platform are the property of Connected Hair or its partners and are protected by copyright law.
6.2. The User may use the educational materials solely for personal, educational purposes. It is prohibited to:
- copy, distribute, or share the content with third parties
- publicly play the video materials
- use the materials for commercial purposes
- record, download, or otherwise reproduce the content without Connected Hair's written consent
6.3. Infringement of intellectual property rights may result in legal liability and suspension of access to the service.
7. RESPONSIBLE USE OF THE PLATFORM
7.1. The User agrees to use the Connected Hair platform in accordance with the law, good practice, and the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
7.2. In particular, it is prohibited to:
- share your account with third parties
- attempt to bypass the platform's technical security measures
- submit unlawful content
- act in a way that disrupts the functioning of the platform
7.3. Connected Hair reserves the right to suspend access to the account of any user who violates these Terms and Conditions.
8. EXTERNAL LINKS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
The platform may contain links to third-party websites. Connected Hair is not responsible for the content published on these websites or for the privacy policies applied by their operators.
9. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF SERVICE
9.1. Connected Hair may temporarily suspend access to the service in order to carry out maintenance work or updates.
9.2. Connected Hair reserves the right to discontinue the service, following prior notice to users, while ensuring they can access their paid content for a reasonable transition period.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1. Connected Hair makes every effort to ensure the highest quality of the services provided; however, it does not guarantee that:
- the service will be available uninterrupted and error-free
- the educational materials will meet all of the User's expectations
10.2. Connected Hair is not liable for:
- interruptions in access to the service resulting from technical causes beyond Connected Hair's control
- damages incurred by the User as a result of improper use of the service
- the effects of applying knowledge acquired during the courses in the User's professional practice
11. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
11.1. Connected Hair is the controller of users' personal data.
11.2. Personal data is processed for the purpose of providing services, handling payments, and communicating with the User.
11.3. Detailed rules regarding the processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy available on the Connected Hair website.
12. COMPLAINTS
12.1. The User has the right to submit complaints regarding the operation of the platform and the quality of the services.
12.2. Complaints should be sent to the email address provided in the “Contact” section.
12.3. Complaints will be processed within 14 days of receipt.
13. CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
13.1. Connected Hair reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
13.2. Users will be informed of any planned changes to the Terms and Conditions via email or through a notice on the platform.
13.3. Changes take effect 14 days after they are announced. Continued use of the platform after the changes have been introduced constitutes acceptance of them.
14. FINAL PROVISIONS
14.1. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
14.2. Any disputes arising from the use of Connected Hair's services will be settled by the court having jurisdiction over Connected Hair's registered office.
14.3. These Terms and Conditions take effect on the date of their publication on the Connected Hair platform.
