Hair Graduation and Texturing

Hair graduation and texturing is a men's haircutting technique for medium-length hair that restores shape and dynamics to a haircut without cutting it shorter against the client's wishes. The course shows how to take a shape that's lost control - for example, six months after a buzzcut - and build a cohesive, masculine silhouette that highlights the hair's natural movement and works with its structure instead of fighting it.

Kacper Orzechowski walks through the entire process step by step: from the client consultation for someone afraid of drastic shortening, through precise sectioning with the crown separated out, all the way to the final styling. The entire cut on the sides and back is built on circular work with diagonal partings, creating a silhouette that's shorter at the front and longer at the back. Kacper shows how to intentionally redirect partings horizontally on the rounded parts of the head, and cut those on the flatter areas vertically, to gain full control over the graduation.
