Karol Roliński
A rising star of Polish barbering, who has been impressing customers with his precision and technical approach to men's haircuts for over five years. He works at Męski Zakład in Łódź, where he developed his own Taper Fade technique, which is particularly effective when working with challenging hair. His versatility and attention to detail make every haircut a small work of art.
Openness in sharing knowledge: evident in detailed explanations of "why," not just "how," and in a willingness to explain every element of their technique in detail.
Practical perfectionism: expressed in the principle of "better to cut too little than too much" and in a systematic approach to work (conservative action with the possibility of correction).
Technical precision: evident in his methodical approach to haircutting, particularly in his developed signature Taper Fade technique and attention to detail.
Educator Karol Roliński
Karol "Rolek" Roliński represents the new wave of Polish men's hairdressing. His approach to the profession is distinguished by exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of haircutting. He is particularly known for his original Taper Fade technique, which he has refined over years of practice at the chair.
He brings a fresh perspective and practical approach to hairdressing education at the Connected Hair Academy. His teaching methods are based on real-life experiences from the salon, where he works with a variety of hair types and customer requirements on a daily basis. "Rolek" is known for not only showing "how," but above all explaining "why" — so his students not only learn techniques, but also understand the principles behind each cut.
He regularly shares his knowledge at industry events such as Night Cuts, where you can see him at work and observe his techniques live. His commitment to the development of Polish men's hairdressing and his openness to sharing his knowledge have led him to join the exclusive group of Connected Hair educators.
"I prefer to trim later than cut too much at the beginning. Hair can always be shortened, but not lengthened." - this is one of his key principles, which perfectly reflects his approach to hairdressing: precise, thoughtful, and always with the best end result in mind.
